Mine turned out slightly different but still works like a charm.

Ok, so I may be a little biased but I think that these have got to be the cutest stockings ever.
You want to know my favorite part about these stockings??
They are made from dresses that once belonged to Great Grandma!!

How to Clean Oven Glass

DIY Wardrobe - Day 2: Dresses, Skirts, Pants, and Shorts

If you dream of a new wardrobe but can't see yourself shelling out 100's to 1000's of dollars then a DIY wardrobe may be the way to go. It seems as though everyone is turning to making there own clothes these days. Either by refashioning what they already have or making a piece entirely from scratch.
This week I'm going to be doing an entire series on DIY Clothing. I've compiled several lists that I will be posting to help you turn your wardrobe from
drab to fab.

Last Minute Halloween Bag

Wow!!
Halloween sure did sneak up on me!
I knew it was coming.
I had the kids costumes already picked out and pumpkins already bought. And in my adventures of unpacking I even managed to find the girls Halloween bags that I made for them last year.
Of course that was 2 weeks ago and didn't want them cluttering up the house at the time so I shoved them back in the box and decided to wait till Halloween was a little closer. As the days went on I kept thinking I should probably get them out before they got lost in the masses of boxes but in the end I decided to put it off for another day.

Yesterday morning after a short text message conversation with my sister, the decision was made to check out a local Trunk-or-Treat last night. I was thankful that I still knew around-a-bout which box contained the Halloween bags. I headed out to the garage and managed to find them in the second box I opened. But I was not too excited when I pulled out these.

Baked Frito Pie

My family is big on tacos. Seriously!! Even my picky little eaters gobble them down like candy. It's probably the only food that I know they will eat time and time again. But as much as I love taco night, the best part is mixing the leftovers with Fritos and having some good ol' frito pie for lunch the next day. So obviously I was overjoyed when I found this recipe for some amazing baked frito pie. I made a few changes to the original recipe and I love it.

Did You Know...

One thing that just makes me giddy all over is when I am randomly bouncing around from site to site and suddenly I discover something new. Something that makes me think "Why did I not discover this sooner?" Some of these new ideas (new to me at least) have made life just a little easier.

Creative Uses for Mod Podge.

Do you know who Jan Wetstone is?

About 43 years ago, a woman named Jan Wetstone invented Mod Podge  in her home.
I wonder if Jan knew how much joy and inspiration her product would bring when she invented it?

12 Inspiring Ideas for Using Chalkboard Paint

Chalkboard Paint!!
A few years ago, if someone was talking about a chalkboard they usually meant the giant board that sat on the wall in the front of the classroom. These board were usually boring black or a very unattractive green. In today's world, chalkboards are being used outside the classroom in many ways.

Creative ways to add a pop of color to your room

My youngest favorite color is purple. While I'm not to fond of the color myself I've been searching for some ideas to add a pop of purple to her room without it being too whelming.

Here is what I found so far.

Green and Frugal DIY Disinfectant Cleaning Wipes

I used to be obsessed with disinfectant wipes. I kept them everywhere. In the kitchen, bathrooms, dining room. They were so convenient. Sticky fingerprints on the table... grab a wipe, bathroom counter needs cleaned... grab a wipe, sticky kitchen counters... grab a wipe.
Of course this obsession was short lived when I realized how much I was spending on those bad boys. Not to mention all of the harmful chemicals that they contain.
Here is my new solution

Organizing Your Fabric

Here are a few great ideas for storing and organizing your fabric stash.

Canvas Painting and Wire Name

I wanted to share this fun wall decoration that I made for my daughters room. Unfortunately, this was one of those spur-of-the-moment projects, and I didn't think to take photos during the process. In all honesty, this was my first time painting on a stretched canvas, and my first time using acrylics so I wasn't to sure that it would even turn out. However, I'm quite happy with the results and my daughter absolutely loves it so I will do my best to explain how I did it.

Toilet Paper Roll Projects

Quit tossing those toilet paper rolls in the trash!! Check out these beautiful projects you can make with them.
