Materials
First thing I did was write the name down on a piece of paper in the size that I wanted (if you have bad handwriting you can print a word off of the computer in any font.) I then tried my best to bend the wire along with the name on the paper. This took quite a bit of bending and finagling to get the wire just right.
I used various shades of pink for the background. After it dried I painted the flower. Once the flower dried I decided were I wanted my name to go and I used painters tape to paint my blue stripe across the canvas. After the blue stripe was dry I poked the ends of my wire through the canvas and then twisted them to keep the wire from falling out.
The name bowed out a little so I had to glue it to the canvas in a few spots.
I am actually very happy with the results. What do you think?

Wow, that turned out so cute! I have been wanting to try my luck with painting a canvas, but I'm kind of nervous because I'm not a really great artist. The wire adds a fun touch!
