DIY Duster

Ever since I found this tutorial on Sew Much Ado for a diy swiffer duster, I've been meaning to make a couple of my own. Of course after seeing the tutorial months ago I thought I would be able to remember the tutorial without looking it up again.
Mine turned out slightly different but still works like a charm.

Elf Stocking

Ok, so I may be a little biased but I think that these have got to be the cutest stockings ever.
You want to know my favorite part about these stockings??
They are made from dresses that once belonged to Great Grandma!!
A little over a year ago Grandma gave me a HUGE bag full of dresses and fabric scraps.

How to Clean Oven Glass

 - it seriously is that easy
When we moved into our house, the inside of the oven had not been cleaned for who knows how long. The oven glass had years worth of burnt food caked on in a sticky nasty mess.

Here is what my oven glass and the inside of the oven door looked like when we moved in. You couldn't even see inside the window to check on the food.

And here is what my oven glass looks like now. Look at how clean that window is!!

The best thing about this is that I didn't use any harsh chemicals, it was super easy, and I already had all the supplies on hand.

How to Clean Oven Glass

  1. Water
  2. Baking Soda

  1. Add a 1/4 cup of baking soda in a dish and mix just enough water to make a thick paste.
  2. Spread your mixture all over your glass (and the inside door if it needs it).
  3. Wait 15-20 minutes then wipe off.
  4. If there are still spots left they should easily scrub off with a scour pad.

Potato Scramble - Yummy Goodness

I saw this recipe on pinterest a few days ago
I'm not much for runny egg yolk but I love eggs and I love potatoes so I decided to give it a try.
Here is what mine looked like.

DIY Wardrobe - Day 2: Dresses, Skirts, Pants, and Shorts

If you dream of a new wardrobe but can't see yourself shelling out 100's to 1000's of dollars then a DIY wardrobe may be the way to go. It seems as though everyone is turning to making there own clothes these days. Either by refashioning what they already have or making a piece entirely from scratch.
This week I'm going to be doing an entire series on DIY Clothing. I've compiled several lists that I will be posting to help you turn your wardrobe from
drab to fab.
