    1. Glad you like them Kelly. I think everyone can use more storage space in their home.

  1. Wow, these are some really amazing storage tips! I totally agree with you that extra storage is always welcomed, especially when you have kids around. I have never thought of the pegboard inside your closet or bathroom idea. I think it is a very clever way to replace your wall and fully utilize the wall space, apart from having shelves. The second idea that I think is very smart is the slide out storage under kitchen and bathroom sinks. Those are the areas that are usually left untouched, which can actually hold many stuff. However, I think DIY those slide out counters requires some expertise though. Next is the small shelves on cabinet doors. This idea is very smart indeed! Who would have thought of placing items on the door itself! However, you can only place small jars because doors are not that heavy duty to hold heavy items like large and heavy jars/bottles. Lastly, the clever idea that caught my attention is definitely the lazy susans at corner cabinets. They not only allow you to create extra space but also gives you 360 degree access to all your jars and bottles.

  2. There are so many ways to organize your home and it does not require a genius to do it. These ideas are great and to begin with, these are easy to do. But first and foremost, before getting to working on storage spaces and even building built-in ones, you could take a look at your home and de-clutter your items. De-cluttering is the first step in organizing your home, and this requires planning. If planning is not carried out well, it defeats the purpose of organizing your home.

  3. You have some really great ideas on here, some I haven't seen before. Thanks for sharing them!!!

  4. Hi! I'm Tawn…I'm a packrat. I can break even the neatest of organizers. I am going to try and apply some of your ideas. I may even video the results so that you are your besties can have a good laugh at the idiot 🙂 I might possibly be the world's least organized human. I have the hanging shoe bags in my pantry (messy). I have the peg boards behind the shelves in my kitchen (disaster) and every room is a collection of organizers and organizing do-dads that look worse than the next. Oh bother, I feel like Eyore mixed with Pig-pen had a baby with SchlepRock.

    1. Hi Tawn, I would LOVE to see a video. I'm always up for a good laugh. But seriously, don't feel bad. At least you seem to be on the right track to getting organized. It will take a lot of time and self discipline but I'm sure you will get there.

  5. There are so many different options for cabinets around the house to increase storage. Storage is one of those things for the creative mind. Those who can think outside the box will always have room. Organization is also important.

For bathroom storage, a simple bookcase like stand can store all your essentials and look beautiful too.
