EasyClosets Pantry Organizing System – The Reveal

For those of you who have not been following along, my husband and I have spent the past couple of weeks designing and installing a new pantry organizing system with EasyClosets. (You can read more about that here and here) I could not be more excited to share our final reveal with you guys today.

What do you think?

When we were installing the shelves on the right, I measured each one of our small appliances and adjusted the shelves so that everything would fit perfectly. If you remember, in my before photo, most of our small appliances were shoved up on the top shelf. Since we use most of them quite often, I really wanted them in an easy to reach location and with EasyClosets adjustable shelving, this worked out perfectly. Not only do I have a designated space for all of my appliances, I also have the option to adjust the shelves to fit any future appliances as well.

The wine storage is amazing! I can now keep my wine bottles and wine glasses all in one location instead of scattered throughout my kitchen. Below the wine bottles, I placed a platter to store fruit. My kids go through a ton of fruit and we usually just store it on the kitchen counter. Having a dedicated area that does not waste precious counter space has made such a huge difference.

The pan and tray divider shelves are by far my favorite feature. We originally had all our pans and cutting boards stored in a lower kitchen cabinet. Not only did they take up a lot of space but it was a pain to find anything. Now they are all at eye level and within easy reach. The red baskets above them store dried peppers (my husband makes his own barbecue sauce and seasoning which is DELICIOUS) and a few bags of pasta. Below the pans is a section for cookbooks and candy. Before installing the vertical divider shelves, I measured our tallest cookbook (a family recipe binder) to make sure it would fit. I know that I have already said it, but I absolutely love that EasyClosets gives us the option to customize each section to perfectly fit every item.

On the far left we have a few baskets to store bread, snacks, and produce. Being able to see the contents of each basket without opening them makes it so easy to quickly find and grab what you need.

Above that is the kids cereal, which I like to keep within easy reach so that they can help themselves. We keep our beans and rice in cereal keepers. This makes it so much easier to store, and we can easily pour out what we need. The top shelves contain our salad spinner, tortilla cooker, and a few baking dishes. There are also a couple baskets on the very top that contain our canning supplies and a couple holiday platters.

The drawers hide all of our clutter!! It does not matter how much stuff I shove inside of them, or how messy they are, I can just close them and the pantry still looks pretty! Yay!

The top drawers hold tea (that old yellow tin holds most of our tea bags and loose leaf teas), a teapot, spices, cookie cutters, and a few other random things.

Next, we have kitchen towels, lemon juicer, kitchen scale, and even more random items (aka clutter).

These drawers contain all of our storage bags, trash bags, and plastic utensils. The recycled tin boxes contain batteries and extra writing utensils.

In the bottom drawers we have all of our medicine, and band aids as well as some baking supplies.

All the items contained in the drawers above are things that are not very pretty to look at but we use them often so it is important to have them within easy reach. Originally, I was not going to include drawers in the pantry, however, I am so glad that I did. They are the perfect option for keeping items out of site but within easy reach.

And there you have it! Our beautiful pantry update.

I have been using this system for a little over a week now, and I have to say that it is AMAZING! Being able to completely customize our pantry to fit our needs and lifestyle has been a game changer. Not only is the pantry more beautiful and functional, but the quality of EasyClosets is by far the best I’ve seen. There is no doubt that this system will last for years to come. It is well worth the money and I am already planning on using EasyClosets again for future projects.

I put together a quick video to share a few of my favorite features. I would also love to hear your comments. What is your favorite part of the pantry? What would you include in your own pantry?

If you would like to learn more about EasyClosets you can find them on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.

  1. Would you mind sharing the cost of this exact pantry? Not your cost… what it would cost a regular Jane like me.

    1. Cindy, EasyClosets is completely customized to your needs. Even if you purchased a pantry system similar to mine with all the same option, unless your pantry has the exact measurements as mine, the cost would vary. On the EasyClosets website they offer a design tool that is completly free to use. You can enter in your pantry measurements and customize each section to look like mine or change them to fit your own needs. At the top of the design tool it will show you the price of your design and it will change with each option that you add. This should give you an idea of what a similar system will cost you and you can easily adjust your options to fit in your own budget.

  2. What a brilliant idea,Jamie! Things are easy to see and locate. I thought closet are created to organise clothes only. Now, you give me useful ideas on organising a pantry. Thanks!

  3. This is really wonderful! Thanks for the reveal. I never imagine closets can be used in the pantry as well. It's cool. Very organized. Thank you for sharing this. Such an inspiration.
