I love the idea of painting mis-matched vases in chalk paint. I've got lots of them; I'm going to try this! And painting those owls and using them as bookends. Brilliant. I hate buying bookends, so this is fantastic. Thank you!

I work in the kitchen of our elementary school. This week we prepared the Thanksgiving meal. We had pies that came in foil pie tins with clear plastic covers and black plastic bottoms. I hated to throw them away so I kept them and am trying to think of something creative to make with them. Any ideas?
