Under Sink Storage Solution

This is an updated post originally published on DIYHSH Nov. 2010

I never know what to put under the sink. With the plumbing located smack dab in the center of the cabinet, it makes for an awkward storage area. On the search for some bathroom storage ideas, I came across a few amazing solutions.

If your good with power tools, you can easily make custom storage to fit
any size cabinet. I love the slide out baskets included in this amazing
tutorial.

Stacking bins are great for squeezing into awkward spaces. Measure your
area before you head to the store so that you know what size will best
fit in your space.

If you store cleaners under your sink, try this simple trick. A tension curtain rod is perfect for storing spray bottles. You could even add a couple S hooks to hang brushes and dish towels.

Here is another great option for those of you with power tools. Using drawer glides and wood you can make your custom sliding drawers. Sliding Drawers via Family Handyman

  3. That is a really smart under-sink storage solution indeed. At home, I just dump everything onto the floor of the cabinet area underneath the sink. Because of that, the space becomes limited and things are strewn all over the place and difficult to find. I really like the plastic basket drawer storage system that she has created. It really helps organize the little things that tend to go missing easily. It also utilizes the vertical space and maximize the available space there.
