9 Super Simple Cleaning Hacks

Cleaning is not everyone’s favorite thing to do but sometimes we come across ideas that make our everyday chores a little easier. Today I’m sharing a few simple, yet brilliant cleaning hacks that have helped me out time and time again.

Use a seam ripper to remove lint and hair from the roller brush on your vacuum. (full tutorial – Real Simple)

A lot of crud can hide behind the splash guard of your disposer resulting in a dirty, smelly kitchen. An easy way to clean it is to lift the flaps and clean the under side with an electric toothbrush. (full tutorial – Family Handyman)

Clean gunk off of your shower door track by leaving vinegar soaked towels for 30 minutes. The vinegar will loosen the gunk and make it easy to wipe off with an old toothbrush (full tutorial – Centsable Momma)

A simple way to clean your oven racks is to place them in the bathtub. Coat in vinegar and baking soda. Let them sit for 10 minutes then soak them in hot water. After a few minutes the gunk will easily wipe off. (full tutorial – eHow)
