Have you seen the new glow in the dark glow from Elmer’s?!! This stuff is so much fun! You can find it anywhere Elmer’s is sold or you can but it online HERE.

Elmer’s asked if I wanted a few bottles of glue to create some fun slime. Of course I jumped on the offer.

One thing I love about this glue is the added glitter. It really makes the colors pop! In the past I have made slime by adding glitter to the recipe. While the slime turned out good, every time the kids play with it glitter ends up all over their hands and the table. With this slime recipe the glitter stays in the slime where it belongs. No more glitter messes to clean up

I have not mastered the art of taking photos in the dark yet (or maybe I just need a better camera) so I apologize for these pictures but I wanted to show how well the colors glow. The photos don’t show the true colors. The blue slime is still blue in the dark, but the pink slime is more of an orange color, and the white slime is glows green.

Glow In The Dark Slime Recipe

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In the first bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of glue and 4 tablespoons of water.
  2. In another bowl mix 1/2 teaspoon borax with 1/2 cup of warm water.
  3. Add borax solution to glue mixture and mix. You will have to use your hands to mix. It will be really messy at first but trust me, mixing it with a spoon won’t work. Once the slime starts to form, drain off any excess liquid. continue mixing until the slime is smooth and no longer sticks to your hands.
  4. Slime can be stored in a ziploc bag at room temperature.
